When it came time for Royal Utilities to replace the seawater reverse osmosis (RO) membranes for the St. Kitts Water and Sewer plant, they turned to LG Water Solutions for help. The plant supplies irrigation and potable water to the Marriott Hotel for its resort grounds and golf course. As energy costs are high in the Caribbean, Royal Utilities needed to increase the efficiency of their system. LG Chem membranes lowered the system’s feed pressure and the plant now operates at 665 psi (46 bar).
